Ensuring Financial Stability for Families
Financial challenges can affect anyone. Income assistance helps alleviate financial stress, providing the means to cover essential needs. With income assistance, you can focus on your family's wellness and without the constant worry of financial instability.
Income assistance is the temporary financial assistance to help fund the basic needs of on-reserve Sq'éwlets Members for food and shelter while you regain your financial independence.

** Please note: It can take up to a week or longer to process a complete application, dependending on verification checks. Missing information will delay processing. **
Requirements
Individuals and families qualify for income assistance that meet the following requirements:
- Must be between the ages of 19-64
- Provide the proof of financial needs with proof of income
- Provide all required forms
- Provide two forms of proof of identification for all on file (Two for adults, 1 for child)
- Provide Shelter documents, including Rent, Hydro, Telephone, Tenancy Agreement, Confirmation of Residence

Applications must be submitted in-person at the Sqewlets office to submit your application. Book call to schedule your appointment.

Adult-assisted care offers personal support and part-time housekeeping to meet the needs of adults in need. This service ensures that community members receive compassionate housekeeping, enabling them to live comfortably and with dignity at home.
